Check-in
Check-in is a minimum of 30 minutes before your departure time. Please ensure you are on time so we can depart according to our schedule.

If you are bringing mountain bikes or other large items, please give us as much time as possible to load your gear onto the boat.

Return times
All return times are approximate. While we strive to adhere to our daily schedule as closely as possible, the number of passengers to pick up and drop off along our route varies, which means we may arrive earlier or later into Picton than the time stated.

Queen Charlotte Track
The Queen Charlotte Track is 73km long and can be walked in 3-4 days or mountain biked in 2-3 days. There are many entry points to the track along its length.

Book your water transfer with us to your chosen starting and finishing point and ensure you know what time we’ll be there to pick you up. If you’re unsure, talk to our experienced staff about your options.

Before you go, ensure you have the correct gear and are prepared for weather conditions to change, as they often do in the Marlborough Sounds.

Accommodation
Queen Charlotte Sound/Tōtaranui and the Queen Charlotte Track has a range of lodges, Department of Conservation campsites and private baches (holiday homes). Many are water-access only.
